Hue Scintillator App Reviews

Like other reviewers, Ive tried pretty much every hue related app out there, and this one is by far the best app for creating and editing your own color themes. From the variety of looping effects to the way you can create your own color palettes and sync them to your own music is fantastic. Best of all, no in app purchases! The developer isnt greedy....Buy it once and you can create any variety of looping colors that you want. I love that I can assign a group of bulbs together and have them all synced to the same colors. Its the only app you really need!

Beautiful, easy to manage Hue light controller. A million choices made easy! I bought this hoping for a nice flickering candle effect. Knocked my socks off! Total control over my bulbs!

Definitely the most reliable app out there for setting up dynamic effects with my Hue lights. Lots of different effect combinations. Unfortunately, theres no Hue Tap functionality. I would love to be able to program my hue tap to be able to cycle through multiple scenes/combinations of scenes using the tap as opposed to having to unlock my phone and open the app every time. This would probably make this app perfect.

The _only_ issue I have is listening to video over BT in my phone with the app actively changing the colors in the background. The (always-on) listen feature deactivates my BT connection. Otherwise this is the best animated Hue scene app out there. Its really amazing to watch something with the scene changing colors in the room... it blows me away!

Bad customer service and do not recognize your LIFX bulbs

I looked at many apps for Philips Hue. If you like to have color animations this one has the best concept, GUI and is fun to create your own scenes with! I highly recommend this app!

Great app only if my scenes would stay open in the background

Bought the app for my 4 lifx color 1000 br30 bulbs, open the app in excitement to go the the connections page and get it up and running, and all I get is a big fat red X. It wont connect to my bulbs that I was so readily excited to play with. If you have lifx, do not waste your money. I will update this review "if" they get it updated and working. Until then, trust me, its not working with lifx
